The One Thing I Did for the Traditional....

While I'm waiting on getting back photos from my traditional wedding, I thought I'd show you the one thing that I did in regards to the traditional wedding.

The one thing I did for the traditional wedding is the invitations. Amongst the madness of everything else, I wanted some semblance of clarity.

So, without further ado, KnaijaQueen's traditional wedding invitations...

*Sorry about having to block out personal information*

I have a graphic designer who is designing all of the wedding-related stationary including this invitation. I printed the first sheet on platinum vellum with the picture of my fiance and I printed on #80 ivory linen cardstock.

To hold the two pieces of the invitation together, I taped red ribbon to the back.

If you notice at the bottom, I indicated to be prompt on the invitation. I felt the need to put that there as I wasn't interested in a large amount of people being immensely late. More on that during the photo recap.

I actually ended putting together 120 invitations and gave out 115. One of my bridesmaids and my sister came one evening to help me so we could knock it out all at once. The invitations were put into ivory envelopes with wrap around mailing labels for the addresses. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of it before I sent it out.

In the big scheme of things, these are simple invitations but did the job I was looking for. The invitations for the white wedding are a little more design intensive and will show those in due time.

So...what do you think of these?
