Wedding - Wunmi and Deji, Part I

We continue this series with Wunmi and Deji's church wedding. I can definitely say that Wunmi is a bride after my own heart...

I love the birdcage veil (on the bride) and the bridemaid's dresses...everything looks FABULOUS. She definitely decided to interject little things into the wedding. Enjoy!!!

Olufemi (Abo) - Wunmi and Deji, Part I

Welcome to another week here at Naijawed N More!!!

For the next few days, I have another series of a couple's traditional wedding and church wedding. Wunmi and Deji had a beautiful wedding and spared no expense for either their traditional wedding or church wedding. Enjoy!!!

Photography Excerpt: Last week I was honored to shoot one of the most beautiful couple on this earth – Wunmi and Deji. It was a 3 day wedding weekend starting from their traditional engagement, to a cruise and then the white wedding last sunday. Here are my favorites from their traditional engagement, as you can see that the day was simply beautiful and vibrant and I was able to capture some stunning details. Congatulations Wunmi and Deji, and I pray that this union will be filled with everlasting joy. Here is their website – Wunmi and Deji.

Bride’s shoes – I love the details.

Wow!!! Who did her makeup? It looks gorgeous...

Now that is one interesting looking cake...

Stay tuned, more coming soon!!!

Wedding Video (Trailer) - Teddy and Toyin

As promised, here is Teddy and Toyin's wedding video trailer. This is simply 2.5 min sneak peek into their wedding. I would have waited to show you the full length video, (which is about 10 min) but I couldn't help myself. I just thought the trailer was beautiful!! The decor and venue was just breathtaking.

As soon as I have the full length, I'll show it to you.

Haiti Needs Help!!!

Source

I'm pretty sure that everyone knows by now that the little island of Haiti has been rocked with a 7.0 earthquake a few days ago. I can't imagine the turmoil and distress that this country is going through right now.

There's not much that I can do, but, I've decided to do what I can and donate $5 to Wyclef Jean's organization.

The way to donate is to text YELE to 501501. The $5 will be added to your phone bill.

Another way to donate is to text Haiti to 90999 which will actually donate $10 to the Red Cross.

I hope that we all are able to come together in this time of need.

Look For Less - Lazaro/Maggie Sottero

Today on the Look for Less, we have another dress that you can get for a little more reasonable. Take a look!!!

I personally love the look of ruffled dresses.
Lazaro 3866

~$6000

Although this isn't a dead ringer for the Lazaro, it's very similar, and I personally prefer the look of the Maggie Sottero.

Wedding - Kemi and Tunji

I came across this wedding a few weeks ago and was quite surprised. This wedding was a SMALL wedding even for American standards. It looked as if there were approximately 100 people in attendance, if not less. As most of us know, an average sized Nigerian (African) wedding has around 300 people in attendance. Nevertheless, I'm sure everyone had a wonderful time, especially since, the bride and groom were more likely able actually greet everyone there. Enjoy and leave a comment!!!

Photography Excerpt: kemi and tunji had a small wedding a few weeks ago in upper marlboro, md. it was hot and sunny earlier in the day, but everyone had a great time. here are just a few of the pictures from that night.
